Drake Bay: 4 Nights, 5 Days Adventure

​Description

Start with a scenic speedboat ride through the Sierpe mangroves to Drake Bay. Experience two full days of diving at Caño Island’s top dive sites, where coral reefs, sea turtles, manta rays, and vibrant marine life await. Enjoy a night dive near San Josecito Beach, exploring the transition from day to night underwater.

Discover the rich biodiversity of Corcovado National Park with a guided hike at Sirena Station, spotting wildlife like monkeys, coatis, and even tapirs. Relax aboard a comfortable Catamaran with activities like paddleboarding, waterslides, and a minibar.

Itinerary
 

Day 1 – Sierpe to Drake Bay

Travel by speedboat through the scenic Sierpe mangroves. Arrive at Pirate Drake Beach Camp or Casa Gitana to start your adventure.

Day 2 – Isla del Caño by Catamaran

Depart at 7:00 am for two dives at Caño Island’s best sites, including the Cave and Devil's Rock. Relax between dives on the catamaran, paddleboard, or explore the island’s beach. Lunch and drinks are served on board. Return to Drake Bay by 2:00 pm.

Day 3 – Corcovado National Park (Sirena Station)
Leave at 6:00 am for a guided 4.5-hour hike through Sirena Station’s secondary forest. Spot unique wildlife and enjoy a break at the ranger station before returning to Drake Bay by 1:30 pm.

Night Scuba Diving: At 3:30 pm, head to San Josecito Beach for a 40-minute dive at one of our new dive spots. Witness marine life during the day-to-night transition. Afterward, relax on the catamaran with snacks and drinks. Return by 6:30 pm.

Day 4 – Isla del Caño Extended Dive Expedition

Embark at 7:00 am for an extended diving experience, exploring new sites at Caño Island. Enjoy onboard activities, lunch, and downtime on the catamaran. Return to Drake Bay by 2:00 pm.

Day  5 – Drake Bay to Sierpe

Check out by 10:00 am. Take a speedboat back to Sierpe at 7:30 am or 2:00 pm, reflecting on your adventure-filled journey.

Accommodation

The price includes your stay in a double room at our Pirate Drake Beach Camp, where you'll sleep in a glamping tent right in front of the beach.

Alternatively, you can choose Casa Gitana, located a 5-minute walk from the beach but boasting a private beach area on the other side of the river from Drake Bay (Casa Gitana is situated 2 kilometers outside of town)
