Corcovado National Park – San Pedrillo Station

Immerse yourself in one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. San Pedrillo Station, the closest ranger station to Drake Bay, offers a full-day journey through primary and secondary forests, including a refreshing swim by a waterfall.

What to Expect:​
​
Your adventure begins at 6:00 am with a 30-minute boat ride to San Pedrillo Station. Start with a 3.5-hour hike through the secondary forest, where you may encounter wildlife like monkeys, coatis, peccaries, and even tapirs or pumas. Afterward, enjoy a break and lunch at the ranger station.
​
In the afternoon, delve into the primary forest to learn about ancient trees and unique plants while spotting more wildlife. End the day with a refreshing swim at a waterfall surrounded by the sounds of nature. Return to Drake Bay by boat between 3:00 and 4:00 pm. The half day tour ends at around 1:30 pm with the same initiary.
